“If most digital marketing programs
or campaigns have a weak area, it’s
analytics.” That’s according to a recent
article in Forbes magazine. And a
recent study cited on Future Buzz
found that the most desirable skill
and largest talent gap in 2014 was
analytics. That is no longer the case at
the Culverhouse College of Commerce
thanks to a new, innovative curriculum
in analytics.
The Manderson Graduate School of
Business in the Culverhouse College
of Commerce now offers an online
Master of Science in marketing with a
specialization in marketing analytics.
It was offered for the first time in
Spring Semester 2015.
Through the online master's in
marketing, students learn the analytical
skills needed to stay ahead in an ever-
changing and competitive field. The
degree program teaches students how
to evaluate marketing campaigns based
on a myriad of data, a skillset that is
much needed in the current workplace.
Students will also develop other critical
skills such as communication and time
management.
Along with traditional marketing
courses, such as marketing project
management and global market
management, students take classes
in advanced marketing analysis and
data mining, to name a few. Courses
are offered completely online; campus
visits are not required. In addition, UA
and Culverhouse are leaders in data
management and analytics education.
The online format allows students to
learn from the same on-campus faculty
who are leading the nation in this area.
The flexible, online program
is designed for supervisors,
The program is accredited by the
Association to Advance Collegiate
Schools of Business. AACSB
accreditation is the benchmark of
quality worldwide and is widely sought
after by business schools. Less than 5
percent of institutions worldwide have
earned this achievement.
The Manderson Graduate School
of Business is ranked No. 12 by U.S.
News and World Report as the best
online graduate business program and
is ranked the No. 5 best online graduate
program for veterans.
